Here is the completed mural.

It starts as an underpainting. In this case, as it is a historical painting, I use a sepia tone for the preliminary work.

Here you can see a close up of details before the childern start painting.

The following shots are in progress. You can see the sponging for rocks that will soon appear in the painting.
All the corn rows and apple trees in the far right have ben done by the children.



My faithful dog, Jacque waits patiently as students paint foreground details.
